Hannah designed this and she and her mates put it together for Reconciliation Week at School. It is now displayed in the entrance to the school. The school sits on land previously used by the Kaurna People. Prior to Assembly there is always an acknowledgement of this link with the past.
Reconciliation Week is quite an important educational event in the school year and many activities are planned to teach kids respect for native Australians and their culture. There are a small number of aboriginal kids in the school, many you would not be able to identify. The school has a part time aboriginal worker, who comes in and works with the kids.
I do like the Aboriginal flag, it's possibly more striking than the NT flag.
