Photo Hunt: Old Fashioned

The Adelaide Oval Cricket Score Board. Very old fashioned, dating back to 1911. On four levels and manually operated by a team of people. The Fourth Test between Australia and India is going on now.

While we are at it, Happy Australia Day and Happy Republic Day in India.

  10. I think cricket itself must be an old fashioned game--even when it has a modern score-board. It obviously has never caught on here in the US. I do know a couple of peopel who play crickett, but they had to go to Canada to play when they lived here, and they moved back to Pakistan. (Of course, one of them is ten years old.)

If you fossick through my Pictures of Wales, you will find pics I took years ago on a Box Brownie.
This has started me wondering just how many cameras I have owned. One of my favourites was an Olympus Pen half-frame.
Thanks for the comment and Jerihatrik says hi to McMarsbar.

  22. A belated Happy Australia Day

On January 26, 1788, Captain Arthur Phillip guides a fleet of 11
British ships carrying folks to the colony of New South Wales,
effectively founding Australia. After overcoming a period of hardship,
the fledgling colony began to celebrate the anniversary of this date
    with great fanfare.
