Nice work all round, Colin. We actually got a bit of rain overnight, did you get any in SA?
Forgot to tell you this earlier, but a couple of light-hearted chapters in my first novel were inspired by a 1999 trip to the Eyre Peninsula, SA coastal areas, the Bunda cliffs, Nullarbor Roadhouse and the old whaling stations ....
We had a very Scottish Day today. Sunrise, cloudy skies, a little shower, some blue skies and sun, another shower, clouds, rain, rain and sun and some rainbows and some more clouds. All by 10am.
Very comforting.

All the car washes have to be water friendly with recycling and the like. It is one of my kids favourite activities. Just don't plan to do anything afterwards.
Hi - waving to your wife who does paper scrapping! How are you? My students do it in class once a week - I have never ever done it myself, but just teach them what I am doing on the computer. :)
They put in word art, background papers and journaling, we talk about photo composition, textures, and drop shadows and elements...
Oh, and hey Colin - great photos this week! Ruddy cold here in Canberra.
Water is just awesome! And so many uses! I just love being in it, and fishing, and boating and beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Great job! Beautiful kids! Have a wonderful week.
Fabulous photos. When they're done with YOUR car...send 'em over my way, okay?
My 'water' theme this week is a road trip along the coastline of South Texas...ending at an historical mansion. Come by for a visit if you can!! Lots of pictures this time...hope you'll enjoy the history.
Wonderful choices for the theme. It's great to see kids having fun in the water. Fishing and going to the beach are such fun activities. It's great that the kids help out in the cleaning.
Tell you what, I'll do a deal with you. You can have some of our excesses:) Rainfall distribution seems to be becoming more and more extreme at both ends of the scale.
Isn't water just awesome!!! Love these pics, especially the cleaning, beach going, and swimming :)
ReplyDeleteHappy photo hunting and thanks for stopping by :)
