Time Passages
Time passes so fast as you get older. I was at our school acquaintance night tonight. Ryan has the same teacher that Hannah had two years ago and I listened to the same presentation again. It just seems like yesterday that I was in the room with a different group of parents keen to learn. Now I am a cynical oldie, used to all the school rules and the teachers foibles. Hannah has a very different teacher this year and her briefing was helpful, given that Hannah initially wrote her off as a mean disciplinarian who set too much hard work. Well good I say and now that I understand how she operates and what she expects, I will be able to help Hannah adjust.
