Working in a hotel kitchen that specialises in Indian food, I make spicy food almost every day. This is a chicken curry, Chicken Makhani. Not too spicy, but full of spices.

Every year car enthusiasts gather in Adelaide to show of their treasured vintage American cars and Hot Rods. These are just a few. There were literally hundreds. The always rally in Edwardstown at the Castle Plaza Shopping Centre just around the corner from where I live. It is a bit like Reno's Hot August nights, which I went to to about ten years ago. All the more remarkable that there are so many working models. Rather like parts of the Western United States, South Australia has a perfect climate to preserve these cars.

It is hard to believe that they were so modern and fashionable at one time. Just fantastic. I just love some of the detailing and especially the fins.

Spotty is not too keen on getting wet. Despite this, he is a good sport when the kids take him for a ride in our pool. He ended up in the pool and very wet. Lots of shaking and rubbing on the ground to get himself dry.

My saw spent quite a bit of yesterday waiting for me to get inspired to finish cutting this piece of wood. I had to cut it along the grain to make a replacement for part of the floor in the lounge which collapsed. I hate sawing.

I modestly think that this could be a postcard for Adelaide.

The South African or Boer War Memorial, located at the corner of King William and North Terrace, commemorates the first South Australians to go to war. Over 1500 men and horses fought, with over 50 South Australian's killed.

While I could post photos of where I live, where I have a pretty cluttered environment, I found this shop window cluttered with tourist tat. All things stereotypically Aussie available in large quantities.

I love my point and shoot digital camera. It goes everywhere with me and is very well used. I like the flexibility it gives and leads to interesting series of shots. These were taken late last night on the home from the train.
