Our dog, Spotty is just like this. He has longer legs, but I am confident that he would easily kill a blind person if he was a guide dog.

That said, we should all have a dream.

Irelands Eyes are Smiling

I was in the office this Sunday morning at 7am, St Patricks Day (in most of the world) and the Genie came out of the Lamp. After cruelly being denied the Six Nations Championship, by some lame Ecossais defending, it was just desserts. I watched some of the tortuous late overs on the internet and hoped for the upset.

The Captain scoring a six to win the game was fantastic.

Got to love the underdog. So much for all those snooty pants who did not like the inclusion of the minnows. As a minnow follower I say Go Minnows!

Dear Andrew

I hereby apologise for some of the nasty things I said about you and your cricket team this summer. Warranted though they were, it was heartwarming to see your success at the end of a difficult tour down under.

It makes my family pressured switch of allegiance somewhat more difficult.

Oh well it is the World Cup next and I will be supporting the Scottish Saltires.

Update from The Tin Drummer. "It was the weather that did it your Honour". As with the Ashes in 2005, the bad weather played a big part in the victory. It is just part of the English character, manifesting itself in the destiny of major sporting events. Personally I think it was probably listening to Johnny Cash again.
