We had similar thoughts, but I had twelve tulips--that didn't work. Nothing added up to thirteen. I managed, though, and it will appear near midnight Pacific Time. I won't have sunflowers till August in this corner of the world--maybe July if I'm lucky. I always plant lots of them.

Very pretty, I need to have some, my garden is green with shrubs and plants but no flowers.

ooo lovely photo, the sunflowers are gorgeous. I have put flowers up as well, some apricot tree blossoms, I think there are 13 blooms in my photo. LOL

Lovely sunflowers! How kind of them to be (just) thirteen. I tried some short sunflowers last year, but even they lay down flat - too much wind!
