I thought it was interesting too. I think you would have a very focused blog or a very boring blog if you followed all the "rules".
I disagree strongly on the anonymity thing, as I'm sure you realise.
And I'd rather link too many blogs than too few.
I link blogs for MY convenience, so I can get to them easy.
