Australian Election Season Well Under Way

First you develop a clever plan.

Then you implement it.

Then you reap the rewards.

Just deserts I say. Australians are really turned off by the current mudslinging in the run up to the election later in the year. The more the government have tried to go negative, the worse the polls. On current polls, Labor will win election easily.

I seem to recall Labor getting all excited last time round.

I think this is different. People are tired of John Howard and no longer have the level of trust that he will fix the economy. Last time around the public were wise to be dubious about Mark Latham running the country. People seem much more comfortable with Kevin Rudd. Still early, but the two party preferred vote for Labor has been good for a while.
