Skywatch Friday

Last Monday I took the kids down to Granny, who lives close to Normanville Beach. These were taken using my fairly lame camera on my phone as I had lunch by the beach and driving home. Beautiful clear sky with one puffy cloud each.

If you are a sky fetishist, then go here.

I think these are great. It always makes me smile to see a perfectly clear sky and one tiny cloud in the midst of all of it as if it wandered away or got lost.

That first one looks a bit like a zeppelin.

Nice sky shot. It makes you wonder what one little puff of a cloud is doing up there all by it's lonesome.e. MB

What, no snow? What sort of winter is that?
Oh, 'scuse me, you're down there where summer sun, barbies on the beach and beers are the order of the day. Busy digging my car out of the snow drift here!

That is one lonely looking cloud in a sea of blue! :)

It's great to see a beach scene so different in landscape from our own, firstly. And that sweet little cloud in that blue, blue sky took my breath away. I wanted to be there. And someday I hope to visit Australia, so there you go!

Happy Sky Watch.

There is a vision in your photos that your camera can´t match. Sky fetishist? I´m guilty as charged!

Hey Colin, love your blog! And the camera photos are surreal. One of my favorite items here is the backward Bush countdown. Things are looking up!
